Premier Ranj Pillai’s busy schedule continues.
Following the recent Western Premiers’ Conference held in Whitehorse and subsequent meetings in Toronto, Pillai has arrived in Ottawa “for a series of important discussions with federal officials,” cabinet communications staff said today.
“These meetings are part of the premier’s ongoing efforts to advocate for the interests of Yukoners and strengthen relationships with the federal government.”
The sessions will focus on a range of topics, including infrastructure development, economic growth, Arctic security and sovereignty and immigration.
The premier travelled to France last week for D-Day celebrations.
