Organizers of the Kidney Walk BC/YT proudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Whitehorse Kidney Walk last Sunday.
Carmen Komish has been the team lead and co-ordinator for 10 years.
The annual event brought together approximately 75 walkers, who stood in unwavering support of kidney patients, alongside their friends and family.
The walk took place at the Robert Service Campground, where participants walked a scenic 2 ½ kilometres along the picturesque Millennium Trail.
As of now, they have successfully raised more than $19,500, and their objective is to reach the $20,000 milestone or more.
“With the upcoming month ahead, we remain determined to achieve this goal and make a meaningful impact in the lives of kidney patients,” Komish said.

“This success is because of all volunteers that believe in this important cause. Many thanks to them, to the walkers and to our generous donators,” Komish said.
