Yukon Agricultural Association Celebrates 50th Anniversary with a Day of Fun and Festivities

Whitehorse, YT – The Yukon Agricultural Association (YAA) is thrilled to announce its 50th Anniversary
celebration, marking five decades of dedication to the agricultural community in Yukon. To commemorate this
significant milestone, the YAA invites everyone to join a day full of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and
reflection on the rich history of agriculture in the region.
Event Highlights:
Petting Zoo: Delight in the joy of interacting with friendly farm animals.
Yukon Circus Society: Enjoy balloon animals from the Yukon Circus Society.
Baking Competition: Witness the best of Yukon’s bakers as they compete in a desserts category, vote for
your favourite for the people’s choice prize.
Archery Tag: Engage in a thrilling game that combines the fun of archery with the excitement of tag.
Horse Breed Parade: Enjoy a parade showcasing a variety of horse breeds, celebrating Yukon’s
equestrian culture.
Vendors: Explore a diverse selection of goods from local vendors.
Agriculture History Display: Take a walk-through time with exhibits highlighting the rich agricultural
history of Yukon.

Vangel, President of the Yukon Agricultural Association. “This event is our way of saying thank you to the
